Reset Your Blood. Reclaim Your Life.

EBO2 is extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation available at our Nashville lab—a full-volume blood filtration that removes inflammatory debris, infuses medical-grade ozone, and floods your system with oxygen. Think of it as a deep cleanse for your circulatory system.

    A System Reboot.

Your blood carries everything-oxygen, nutrients, immune cells-but also toxic overload. Inflammatory proteins, microclots, excess lipids, and circulating debris from chronic infections, toxins, and metabolic dysfunction.

EBO2 uses a closed-loop circuit to circulate 4–7 liters of blood outside your body, passing it through specialized filters that trap waste products. As blood flows through the system, it's exposed to a precise mix of medical-grade ozone and oxygen, then returned to your body—cleaner, more oxygenated, and primed for healing.

The result: Reduced inflammatory burden. Improved oxygen delivery. A reset for your entire circulatory system.

    EBOO vs. EB02 — What's the Difference?

If you've been researching ozone therapy, you've probably seen both terms — EBOO and EB02. They describe the same core concept: extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation, where blood is drawn, treated with medical-grade ozone outside the body, and returned. But they're not identical.

EB02 represents the next generation of this technology. Where standard EBOO protocols typically process 1 to 3 liters of blood per session, EB02 systems are designed to treat significantly more — up to 4,800 mL (nearly 5 liters) in a single session. The filtration is more advanced, the ozone delivery is more precisely controlled, and many EB02 systems integrate photobiomodulation (light therapy) into the treatment cycle.

    Standard EBOO

    • Blood Volume1–3 liters per session
    • FiltrationSingle-stage
    • Ozone DeliveryStandard concentration
    • Light TherapyNot typically included

    EB02 at The PRO2COL

    • Blood VolumeUp to 4,800 mL per session
    • FiltrationMulti-stage advanced filtration
    • Ozone DeliveryPrecisely calibrated concentration
    • Light TherapyIntegrated photobiomodulation
    • OversightAdministered under physician-directed oversight

The distinction matters because dose and delivery determine outcomes. Processing more blood at a controlled ozone concentration through advanced filtration is a fundamentally different experience than a lower-volume protocol — even if both fall under the EBOO umbrella.

At The PRO2COL in Nashville's Germantown neighborhood, our EB02 protocol is administered in a clinical-grade environment with physician-directed oversight at every step. If you've had EBOO elsewhere and want to understand the difference, our team can walk you through exactly how our approach compares.

    How EBO2 Works

    Blood Filtration

    Deep Cleanse

The Goal: Remove inflammatory debris and circulating waste.

    The Mechanism:

    • Semi-permeable membranes trap excess lipids and proteins
    • Filters microclots and cellular debris from circulation
    • Reduces total body inflammatory burden

Best For: Chronic inflammation, autoimmune flares, post-infection recovery

    Ozone Infusion

    Cellular Activation

The Goal: Stimulate antioxidant defenses and immune modulation.

    The Mechanism:

    • Ozone generates signaling molecules that upregulate antioxidants
    • Modulates immune response without suppression
    • Improves blood rheology and oxygen delivery

Best For: Long COVID, Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome

    Oxygenation

    Mitochondrial Fuel

The Goal: Flood tissues with oxygen for ATP production.

    The Mechanism:

    • Increases dissolved oxygen in plasma
    • Supports mitochondrial function and energy output
    • Enhances NAD+ and cellular repair pathways

Best For: Brain fog, energy deficits, metabolic optimization

    Who Benefits Most

EBO2 is particularly effective for chronic conditions that haven't responded to conventional approaches.

    Long COVID

Persistent fatigue, brain fog, and inflammatory symptoms that won't resolve.

    Lyme Disease

Chronic infection burden, neurological symptoms, and systemic inflammation.

    Autoimmune Conditions

Overactive immune signaling, joint pain, and systemic flares.

    Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Unexplained exhaustion, post-exertional malaise, and mitochondrial dysfunction.

    Mold & Biotoxin Illness

Circulating toxins, multi-system symptoms, and detoxification challenges.

    Vascular & Metabolic Conditions

Poor circulation, excess lipids, and cardiovascular risk factors.

    Your EBO2 Session.

Approximately 2 hours. Clinical-grade treatment. Personalized care.

    01

    IV Access

    10–15 Mins

Two IV lines are placed—one in each arm—to create a closed-loop circuit. Our team ensures you're comfortable before we begin.

    02

    Circulation & Treatment

    60–75 Mins

Blood flows through the filtration system, where it's cleaned, ozonated, and oxygenated before returning to your body. Most patients relax, read, or rest during this phase.

    03

    Completion

    15–20 Mins

Lines are removed and you're monitored briefly. Many patients report feeling lighter, clearer, and more energized immediately following treatment.

    After Your Session.

    Immediately After

Many clients report feeling lighter, clearer, and more energized within hours of treatment. Some describe it as a "mental fog lifting."

    The Following Days

Mild fatigue or detox symptoms (similar to post-massage) are normal as your body processes released toxins. Stay hydrated and rest as needed. Most clients return to normal activity the same day.

    The Evidence

Early clinical studies of extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation (EBO2) in peripheral arterial disease found greater improvement in skin lesions and leg symptoms compared with standard IV medication, with no reported complications in over 200 treatments.

More than 1,200 EBO2 sessions in a university setting were reported as technically feasible and well-tolerated, with authors noting promising results in vascular and metabolic conditions.

Current research is encouraging but still limited. We recommend EBO2 as part of a comprehensive clinical protocol, not as a standalone treatment.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What Our Clients Say

"I'm doing the EBO2 with hopes to conquer this Lyme. I've been fighting Lyme, Alpha-gal, and Bartonella, and I was able to put them into remission. I'm really hoping a series of EBO2 is going to make such a difference. And what better place than here to do it? It's comfortable, it's beautiful, it's cozy. I've now been cleared of all of them."
